Restored mouldings, charcoal joinery, unbroken daylight.
A Haussmannian floor near the Rue de Grenelle, stripped back to plaster and oak. Cornices and panelling were recast from surviving fragments; the herringbone parquet was lifted, restored and relaid.
Boiserie in deep charcoal grounds the bone-white walls. Brass fittings and a restrained lighting plan carry the rooms from morning light to evening.
