A stone hôtel particulier returned to its structural clarity.
A nineteenth-century hôtel particulier in the Chartrons district, reworked room by room. Partitions added in the 1970s were removed to recover the original enfilade and the depth of the garden light.
Limewash in warm taupe, reclaimed stone and solid walnut joinery set the material register. Every cabinet, mantel and seating piece was drawn for the house and made in workshops in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
